everybodyhasabrain: It’s been a huge challenge for me to keep up the connections with people I’ve met in the past. Recently I’ve been making much more of a conscious effort, and it’s definately paid off in keeping my mind clear and free of loose ends. Realizing you’ve met someone is an amazing feeling, and is something that shouldn’t be taken lightly. You always need the support of someone likeminded, and someone to bounce ideas of off. Being a person who’s constantly on the lookout to collaborate and make things with people, I’m always trying to hone this ability to notice I’ve found people to connect with. It’s actually one of the steps I took to help start and maintain this site along with a few people I connect with on a bunch of levels. The weird thing is that it can be so simple to find these people. Its usually the times when I’m opening up, talking about something I feel passionately about, and someone else listens and builds on what I’m saying. Conversation is can be the most telling of the forms of collaborating on something.  The key thing to keep these connections going is to not stop talking to these amazing people. Even if it’s once in awhile to see how they’re doing or feeling, that small conversation always has the possibility to turn into something great. - Matt
